Pavel Široký is an experienced attorney who has been involved in many important projects in the Czech Republic and the CEE region, including counsel to OMV Group in connection with the sale of its service station network to Unipetrol RPA, counsel to US-based Värde Partners in acquiring the Boscolo Hotels chain, counsel to minority shareholders in connection with takeover bids (for example, shares of Český Telecom), and counsel in connection with shareholder squeeze-outs (for example, in ArcelorMittal Ostrava). Pavel has also been involved in large domestic and foreign corporate takeovers, representing both buyers (for example, Next Wave Ventures with regard to its acquisition of the plastic bottle manufacturer Rexam Petainer Aš) and sellers (for example, KKR in connection with the sale of WMF to Groupe SEB, the world’s leading manufacturer of small household appliances), and court-supervised and out-of-court restructurings of Czech and foreign companies, representing creditors, debtors, and investors. Jan Zrzavecký specialises in commercial law, litigation, and extensive legal services for private clients. He particularly specialises in squeeze-outs and related litigation, where he is able to apply his background in economics. Jan’s clients include medium-sized enterprises and large companies, as well as successful individuals, including innogy, Goodyear, Juta, Česká spořitelna, Česká mincovna, Rybářství Třeboň and Diebold Nixdorf.
